Terms of Service

Last updated July 28, 2026

These Terms govern your use of PrepOutLoud, a spoken mock-interview tool operated by Prep Out Loud LLC (“we,” “us”). By using it, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

Early-stage software

PrepOutLoud is early-stage software provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be discontinued.

Not professional advice

The interviews, feedback, and level reads are AI-generated practice and coaching only. They are not professional, clinical, medical, hiring, employment, legal, or career advice, and may be wrong. For roles in regulated professions (such as nursing), feedback describes interview answers, not correct clinical practice; your licensing board, employer policies, and clinical training govern real-world practice. Any decisions you make are your own.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. PrepOutLoud is intended for users in the United States.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse or disrupt the service, attempt to access others’ data, reverse-engineer or scrape it, or submit unlawful content. You also agree not to systematically collect, extract, or reproduce interview questions, follow-ups, or feedback (whether manually or with automated tools), and not to use the service or its outputs to build, train, or improve a competing product, dataset, or AI model. Please do not share confidential or sensitive third-party information in your answers.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you say and submit. You grant us a license to process your content, including sending audio and transcripts to our AI providers, to operate and improve the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our content

The product, including the interview engine and feedback, is owned by us. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own interview practice.

Termination

We may suspend or end access at any time, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account and data in Settings.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost opportunity, arising from your use of the service. The free tier is provided at no charge.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
